R2 Logistics, Inc., a Third Party Logistics service provider, today announced its plans to open a 10,000 square foot office in Dallas, Texas. R2 recently signed paperwork to lease the entire 12th floor of the building at 4131 North Central Expressway. The new office opening October 1st of this year will serve as the Operations and Sales Headquarters, and central support center for R2’s growing branch network.
“We are very excited about our continued growth and expansion in Dallas,” stated R2 Logistics Founder and CEO, Ben Gase. “We have learned during the past five years that the area offers a strong talent pool which we can leverage for our future growth. Texas is a very business friendly state, and logistically, a central support center here makes sense for traveling between our branch network locations. In all facets of the business, our Operations and Sales Headquarters will be a win for R2.”
R2 opened its first sales office in Dallas of 2012 with only 3 employees. Five years later the company has increased the headcount to 40 employees. R2 plans to hire 50 more employees in Dallas over the next two years. Positions and departments at the Operations and Sales Headquarters will include Business Development, Carrier Sales, Executives, LTL Operations, National Sales, Truckload Operations and Supply Chain Management.
